Not every program requires every document. What we request depends entirely on the financing solution being pursued — a revenue-based approval and an SBA package are two very different files.
Not every program requires every document. What we request depends entirely on the financing solution being pursued — here's the full range so nothing catches you off guard.
Enough to give you a real answer quickly, for most working capital and revenue-based programs.
Larger facilities and longer terms require a fuller financial picture from the business.
Missing something on this list? Send what you have. Part of our job is helping you organize and produce the rest.
You won't be asked for everything on that list up front. We start with a conversation, request what's relevant to the direction you're leaning, and add documentation only as the file moves toward a specific program.
Revenue-based options generally need an application, the last four months of bank statements, a month-to-date statement, a credit report, and identification. These can move quickly once the file is complete.
These require a fuller picture: twelve months of statements, business tax returns, a profit & loss statement, a balance sheet, and often an accounts receivable aging report. The documentation burden is heavier because the terms are better.
A business debt schedule is the critical document. If one doesn't exist yet, building it is usually the first thing we do together — you can't prioritize obligations you haven't listed.
Most files we see aren't. Disorganized documentation is a solvable problem and it's part of what we help with. It is not a reason to delay the first conversation.
Start with a call. We'll tell you which documents actually matter for the direction you're headed.
